System thinking is a methodology used, in coaching programmes among other things, to get a clearer image of a situation. When we map out the system, it often shows a broader context. Not only the person in question, but also his or her leader, the organisation in which he or she works, the stakeholders… After all, each individual is part of several systems that may or may not be connected to one another: family, company, sports club…

Via the systemic approach, underlying dynamics and connections of which we were often not aware, become visible. Organisation constellations are one example of this.
